EXPLORING FAITH

If you have no faith in Jesus or you’re simply exploring faith, we want to help you “encounter” God so you understand who He claims to be and what He has done. We want you to bring your questions, your doubts, and to follow the truth - wherever it leads.

Helpful Next Steps

1. Join a Group:

You can click HERE for a complete list of small groups, but we recommend starting here:

Starting Point – Starting Point is a conversational small group where you can explore faith and experience community, free from pressure or judgement. It’s a safe place for you to ask questions and learn about the Bible and Christianity. You may have questions that you’ve always wondered about but never felt you could ask at church, legitimate questions that would make many Christians uncomfortable. Ask them. Nothing is off-limits.

In this group, we want to have conversations about the stuff that really matters to you, even when it’s difficult to talk about – especially when it’s difficult to talk about. If God is real, He’s big enough to handle your toughest questions, darkest moments, and deepest doubts. In Starting Point, we want to honor Him and you by creating an environment where you can be open, honest, and transparent. Contact Us info@redwoodchapel.org, if you’re interested in joining the next Starting Point group, and someone from the team will reach out to you.

2. Find a Mentor:

It’s a true gift when someone is willing to come alongside you, wherever you are in your faith journey, and help you take next steps in your faith. Mentors provide guidance, explore your questions with you, and are there to help you take next steps in your faith. If you are interested in finding a mentor, Click Here and someone from the mentorship team will reach out to you.

EXPLORING FAITH

NEW TO FAITH

If you are new to faith in Jesus or have a limited understanding of the gospel or the Bible, we want to help you have “spiritual nourishment” so you can continue to grow in your faith. This includes learning how to experience God, read the Bible, pray, and grow in your relationship with others who can help you in your faith.

Helpful Next Steps

1. Join a Group:

Be Still -  A 5- week study on how to develop a quite time with the Lord. Here, you’ll learn how to pray, read the Bible and spend time with God in your everyday life.

Bible Study 101 – A “big picture” overview of the Bible with a lot of application. This way, you learn about God and the Bible intellectually, but also begin to experience God practically.

Experiencing God -  A small group designed to help you know and do the will of God in your life. You’ll learn how to discern God’s voice and recognize God’s work around you.
