Sunday Worship 7/25/21 Ruth: Hope in Lovingkindness
There is a word in Hebrew which captures the idea of sacrificial love called “hesed.” That kind of love is beautifully woven throughout the story of Ruth and finds its climax in chapter 3. This week we welcome Jeff Hockman who will bring another sermon from the book of Ruth series titled; Hope in Lovingkindness, from Ruth 3:1-18.
Sunday Worship 7/18/21 Ruth: Hope in Providence
In college I read a book called God Works the Night Shift which focused on acts of love that God performs even when we are not paying attention. Chapter 2 of Ruth gives us a glimpse into the way God is working behind the scenes. It is a beautiful picture of God’s providence which leads to hope. Join us at 11:00am as Pastor Jeff brings a sermon titled; Hope in Providence from Ruth 2:1-23 as we worship our great God together.
Sunday Worship 7/11/21 Ruth: Hope in Suffering
We sing a song in church called Our God that includes the line "Into the darkness, you shine; Out of the ashes we rise; There’s no one like You, none like You.” The Old Testament book of Ruth is a story about rising out of the ashes of suffering and finding joy in a redeemer. This beautiful book will encourage and challenge your capacity to love and restore your ability to hope. From Ruth 1:1-22.
Sunday Worship 5/30/21 Rewriting the Story
The concept of transformation is not new to the follower of Christ, but what is it? What should it look like? And how should transformation be demonstrated in our lives? Sunday at 11:00 AM Pastor Sam Morgan will explore these things in a sermon titled: Rewriting the Story from Ephesians 2:1-16.
