Doug Ferman
serves as Counselor at Redwood Chapel Community Church. He was born is the Bay
Area, where he currently resides with his wife, Rosalyn. Doug has graduated from
Moody Bible Institute, Biola College, Talbot Seminary, and California State
University, Hayward. He also attended the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and
Holy Names College. Doug taught college in Europe for a number of years and is
fluent in Swedish. Doug is a licensed marriage and family therapist and also
works as a school counselor with middle school students.
Doug met his
Canadian wife Rosalyn (who hails from Toronto) while in training in Michigan.
They have two children, Timothy and Katrina. Doug enjoys being out in nature,
especially the mountains and the ocean. He likes fishing, but fish are usually
quite safe when he is around.
