Jon Drury
Pastor of Adult Ministries
Jon Drury serves as
Pastor of Adult Ministries at
Redwood
Chapel Community Church. In this role, he oversees the Fellowship Department,
provides pastoral care, directs small group ministries, and helps to orchestrate
some of Redwood's many outreach ministries. Jon has been on Pastoral Staff of
Redwood since 1982. Jon received a Th. M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in
1976 and served for 6 years as a senior pastor in Washington State before
returning to Redwood Chapel. He first visited Redwood in the 1950's, and joined
in the 1960's after significant contact with Campus Crusade. Jon married Beverly
in February 1968 after attending Air Force Pilot Training in Lubbock, Texas, and
flew as a transport pilot in Vietnam from 1968-1972. Jon & Bev have four
children and six grandchildren.
In his free time, Jon enjoys
camping and traveling with his family. Jon also enjoys writing, running, and
collecting old fountain pens, and directs the Christian Writer's Seminar held at
Redwood Chapel each February
