MISSIONS CONFERENCE

October 17-19, 2008

God’s redemptive story... it continues to be written in our generation through the vast multiplication of churches in every nation and people group of the world.

Saints may gather in a towering cathedral, jungle hut, or underground house church hiding from government police, but the spread of the Gospel and growth of the Christian church persists!

Jesus Christ commissioned His disciples to go to every people group of the world and make disciples. "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere." (Mark 16:15 TLB).

The theme of this fall’s mission conference is church planting. Make it a priority to get to hear more about this topic from missionaries supported by our church.

Here are some upcoming opportunities:

Thursday, October 16 at 9am

Rub shoulders with some of our missionary women at the Women’s Bible Study.

Friday, October 17 at 7pm

Family Film Night on the Big Screen in Williams Chapel

Bring family and friends to view a compelling story of a jungle tribe that came to faith in Christ in dramatic fashion. True stories of how the Gospel transforms remote peoples of the world is not easily forgotten! Light refreshments to follow.

Saturday, October 18 at 9am

Women’s Missionary Brunch with guest speaker, Karen Stirling and music by Kristina VandenHeuvel.

Saturday, October 18 (in the evening)
