In obedience to the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus to make disciples of all nations, Redwood Chapel has been deeply involved in sending and supporting missionary efforts, both at home and around the world for more than 50 years. Redwood's commitment to missions is seen in the church lobby where the entire left wall is filled with a huge world map, displaying our missions motto "Rooted in the Word . . .Reaching for the World . . ." and pictures and current reports/prayer letters from our missionaries. The pictures and reports allow our church family to stay prayerfully supportive of, our great missionary family.

Missions Committee
An active Missions Committee meets monthly to plan and oversee our missions outreach and budget. The Missions Committee keeps close contact with the 32 missionaries we help support at this time.

Missions Conferences

Redwood sets aside two extended weekends a year for our Annual Missions Conferences, one in the spring and one in the fall. These are a highlight for our church. Our supported missionaries and various mission organizations are invited to take part in the scheduled events for these conferences. For our Spring Missions Conference brochure, click here.

Missions Prayer Time
On the first Sunday evening of every month, everyone is invited to be a part of
Missionary Praise and Prayer, a group that meets Sunday evenings to pray for all of our missionaries. A monthly Missionary Praise & Prayer packet is printed and used at this meeting and made available to everyone in the congregation to be praying for our missionaries.

Missions Involvement
Redwood Chapel desires to be a sending church in seeing God set apart those from our own congregation to go on short term mission trips as well as those who will give their lives for long term ministry in cross cultural missions. The Missions Committee is prepared to guide you through the process of becoming a short-term or long-term missionary.

Mission
ary Treasure Chest
Redwood Chapel Women’s Ministry has a Treasure Chest that is stocked with new items suitable for our missionaries to use for themselves or to give as gifts to others.  Following is a list of needs. If you can donate any of these items, please call Brenda Roehl.

he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth." Hosea 6:3
