Shepherding Ministry

A Redwood Chapel shepherd is one who prays for and calls people in one of Redwood’s surrounding geographical areas. Each shepherd has a family of Redwood attendees, and is regularly updated on their attendance. They not only call and pray regularly for the people whom they shepherd, but stand ready to support in a time of need. If this ministry is of interest to you, please call Pastor Jon or Norma Pitney at 510.886.6300.

Children's Ministry:

The Children’s Ministry department is in need of nursery workers, as well as helpers on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in serving in one of these positions, please contact Sydney Cooper, Children’s Ministry Administrative Assistant, at 510.886.6300, ext. 218.

Volunteer During EQUIP

Please let us know if you would like to volunteer to staff the Information Center during Sunday evening EQUIP sessions. This position of service is just ONE SUNDAY a month. Call the church office to see how you can be part of this very important ministry at 510.886.6300.

Missionary

Prayer & Praise

1st Sunday of the month,  5:00 pm  Heritage Room

Join us at 5:00 pm  the 1st Sunday of the month for our monthly time of prayer for our missionaries and God's work around the world. Missionaries tell us the most important thing we can do to support them is to pray. Many exciting things are happening around the world, and Satan doesn't like that. Therefore, we need to be under girding the work of the church around the world and asking the Lord to put a shield about each of our missionaries. Prayer & Praise sheets with current requests are available. Be sure a to pick up a copy in the lobby if you can't join the prayer time.

Short Term Missions

Show Hospitality 

Offer Christian friendship to an international student studying at local college and universities. Your friendship will make a difference in the lives of these future world leaders. Contact Leon Harper, Regional Director of International Students, Inc.

Volleyball Spikers

Redwood Spikers - feeling the need to get into some volleyball games? on Monday evenings the gym is open from 6:30-8:30pm. Play is intermediate to advanced. Contact Henry Jeung, Cristian Ghereben, or Paul Wohl for more information. 

Guest Reception

Following the morning service, guests are invited to an informal reception at the Guest Center next to the Information Center. Look for the signs directing you there. We would enjoy meeting you and would be glad to answer any questions you might have about Redwood Chapel and our ministries.

The Prayer Room, located near the Redwood Road doors to the Worship Center, will be open following the morning service to anyone who would like to pray.
